About Storyfountain
Unleash your imagination, create stories and share them with others. Storyfountain lets you collaborate with other people, who can continue or modify your stories. And by this (hopefully) make them masterpieces!
If you wish, we’ll provide you with inspiration (photos, themes) but you’re completely free to blaze your own trail. Now, here’s where the real fun comes in: Each and every story is modular in that, though you may have written a stand-alone story with a beginning, middle, and ending, other users may choose to continue writing your story. In this respect, you can think of every story as literary Legos.
All stories are covered under Creative Commons, which means that if you wrote it, you own it. Period.
Vision
What if all these story ideas you've got in your mind don't just disappear, but get written down and made public. You don't have to start with a complete story. An interesting idea or situation could be enough to inspire other users. You can either write your story alone or work together with co-authors and friends. We offer you the tools to do this!
Some users asked if mature stories could be sold or bought in the future. We are still thinking about this, but it sounds reasonable. So if somebody likes your story he can buy a printed copy of it and you will get your share.
